Uniform Collection:

Dear AYSO families,

I am coordinating the Region 10 uniform and soccer equipment collection program this year and I need your help. Each year Region 10 spends approximately $80,000 to purchase uniforms for the summer, fall and winter soccer programs. At the end of each season, these uniforms end up in your closets, drawers, garage, or trash, never to be used again. I am asking all AYSO families to donate their old uniforms and equipment.

This year Region 10 will be making donations through Sports Gifts, Inc. (http://www.sportsgift.org). Sport Gift is focused on providing sports to underprivileged children throughout the world and promoting sports related community service. They work to improve the lives and give hope to impoverished children through a variety of sports programs including the collection and donation of sports equipment. Sports Gift has donated thousands of sport equipment items to deserving children all over the world including The United States, Mexico, Central America, South America, Indonesia, Africa and the Middle East.

Please assist Region 10 in having a successful donation year. Collection receptacles will be available at all three registration days (April 19th, May 17th, and June 14th) as well as at Photo Day in September. We will collect uniforms, cleats, shin guards, and other equipment. Please clean items before you drop them off.
